The 85 hectare Central Park is the featured gathering place located in the heart of the Dubai Parks open  space network. For visitors, the Central Park will provide a distinct “green” connector to major themed  attractions, the 

lagoon, and guest arrivals. The park will contain bicycle paths, pedestrian experiences in  various garden settings, atram route, water taxi stops, opportunities for character meet and greets, with a  combination of vast, open garden spaces, family gathering areas, and lagoon trail experiences.

Inspired by the tropical destination of Seychelles, the challenge was to adapt drought tolerant plant material to immerse guests into a programmed natural environment.
